Applications for the Defense Language and National Security Education Office Boren Awards are opening soon.

The Boren Scholarship funds study abroad by U.S. undergraduate students in world regions critical to U.S. interests with an award of up to $25,000.

The Boren Fellowship funds research and language study proposals by U.S. graduate students in world regions critical to U.S. interests with an award of up to $25,000.

Boren Awards funding may be applied to programs starting as early as June 4, 2023 or as late as March 1, 2024.
